Service

Home Visits

Limited home appointments for patients who genuinely cannot travel to the centre, arranged case by case with our clinical team.

About this service

Most hearing care is best delivered at the centre, where the sound-treated room, the audiometer, the tympanometer and the fitting software all sit in one place. That is why a clinic visit remains our first recommendation for every patient.

There are, however, patients who simply cannot make the journey. Someone who is bedridden after surgery or a stroke, an elderly patient who cannot manage the lift and the corridor, or a family caring for a relative in palliative care should not be left without hearing support. In those situations our team travels to the home.

A home visit is arranged after a short conversation about the patient's condition and what is needed. We carry portable equipment for checks, cleaning, re-tubing, battery supply, basic troubleshooting and follow-up counselling. Where a full diagnostic assessment or a verified fitting is required, we plan the clinic visit together with the family and, where relevant, with the referring hospital or doctor.

Referrals from public hospitals, private clinics and ENT surgeons are accepted for home appointments in the same way as for clinic appointments.
